We have so much here in the U.S., have we forgotten Carlsbad Caverns, The Cliff Dwellars, or how many people have heard of Kooney’s Tomb? New Mexico alone has so much to offer. The Gila National Forrest. And that’s just the southern part of New Mexico. I believe that at this time, travel abroad has become too dangerous. Have we forgotten 9 11 ? There are some people all across the world that mean us harm! If everyone took vacation to a place in America instead, it certainly wouldn’t hurt our economy. I traveled quite a bit in the service and America has so much to offer. How about economic recovery vacations? There is not enough time or space to list it all, but please consider a vacation in America. Travel agencies, please listen. ECONOMIC RECOVERY VACATIONS! Oh yeah, you could offer your regular vacation plans as well, but help make an attempt at planting that seed. Consider money spent on vacations abroad. If it were spent here instead, it sure couldn’t hurt. And by not having to travel so far, to a place that you can’t understand the language, it could save the vacationer some bucks as well. Also they might be able to stay longer, or see more places.

I live in middle America, so it would be nice to show a link on the travel costs to arrive at these locations.
