utah-in-winter-smNo matter if you're looking for fun in the sun or a snuggle by a roaring fire for your next cold-weather getaway, here are our top picks for the best places to escape this winter.

Utah
You don't have to have a board or two strapped to your feet to enjoy The Greatest Snow on Earth®. There are plenty of winter activities to keep the blood flowing, and you, warm. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice-fishing, tubing, sledding, and even snowkiting are all just a short drive away.

Sedona
With fewer crowds and the red rocks dusted with snow, Sedona is an amazing place to visit in the winter. The weather is still pretty good -- with highs in the upper 50s and 60s - and no snow to hamper your enjoyment of the great outdoors.

Key West
If winter gets you down, head south - way south! The Florida Keys are the ideal destination for all snowbirds-in-training and the sun, surf and sand won't disappoint. Head there in December and you'll also get a taste of the Keys' party atmosphere when you attend its kickin' New Year's Eve celebration.

London
The airfare is cheap, the tourists have all gone home and there's a hot toddy waiting in every corner pub; what more do you need to convince you to that winter could be the best time to visit London? Nip into the city's plethora of museums and historic sites when there's a chill in the air and the culture will warm you in no time.

New Hampshire
When you think of the quintessential winter getaway, chances are you'll picture snow-covered mountains, sipping hot cocoa by the fire and sleigh rides through woods - and chances are pretty good that the place you're imagining is New Hampshire. With its abundance of indoor and outdoor activities, the little piece of New England will delight your sense and ignite your holiday spirit.

Mammoth, CA
If you're looking for outstanding winter activities, there's no better place than Mammoth, CA. With world-class skiing, snow tubing, snowmobiles and dog sledding, Mammoth has outdoor fun for the entire family.

Where would you rather make a winter getaway?

How about Vermont!? It’s such a beautiful place to come home to, and I feel very lucky. It’s also a great winter getaway though, with small towns like Stowe and Jeffersonville, tons of B&B’s and fireplaces to warm-up by!
