It’s Chile in the Desert

One of my favorite things about traveling is uncovering unusual, yet culturally significant, museums around the world. I found the Perfume Bottle Museum on a visit to Paris; the Museum of Coffee Culture in Zurich and now I'm headed to the Chile Pepper Institude in Las Cruces, New Mexico, after watching this video from Rand McNally.
Chile Pepper InstituteRow after row of mouth- (and eye-) watering chile peppers, in colors that range the spectrum, and the informative tour guides who impart their knowledge to visitors made the Chile Pepper Institute at New Mexico State University one of Rand McNally’s Editor’s Picks from the 2010 Best of the Road trips.
