We're traveling to Japan for the first time next year and I'm already busy teaching my kids about the cultural difference and travel etiquette. This article from TripWolf on how to behave in a Japanese Bath House is going to make for good reading tonight at the dinner table!
Japanese- Bath House EtiquetteThe public bath house has been a part of Japanese life for centuries; a place for families, friends, and strangers to unite for a relaxing hot soak. Not so different from a jacuzzi night, but some visitors balk at experiencing a public bath because, in Japan,  public bathing is done in the nude.

    Been there, done that and would love to do it again. It is a great soak, just do not froget to wash everything befoe getting in to the bath. the little chairs are there for a reason. Make sure you are headed to the correct side of he bath house. The men’s and women’s side often switch at night. Enjoy
