Volunteer Vacations are an amazing way to give of yourself -- and get something back in the form of personal growth. When I read this article on volunteering while traveling in Brazil on GoNomad.com, it immediately brought to life all the great reasons voluntourism is on the rise, and reminded me why I'm always trying to convince my family that volunteer travel is exactly the type of experience we need.
