Costa Rica’s “Rich Coast”
The best way to experience the stunning scenery of Costa Rica’s “rich coast” is nowhere else but on the water. I embarked on a sunset cruise with Marlin del Rey Charters from Tamarindo’s beach, and five hours later, they had to drag me off the boat. The catamaran cruise showed off the stunning coast line where we drank in views of black, brown, pink and white sand beaches (and also pina coladas). Halfway through, we anchored to take a snorkeling pit-stop where we saw schools of bright fish (and octopus!). Some of us swam up to the beach, where the only other inhabitants where noisy howler monkeys. The crew shucked fresh oysters for everyone on board when we returned and had lunch set up for us. And to top it off, we sailed back to a blazoning fiery red sunset.
