I finally was able to live a lifelong dream and travel to the Grand Canyon this winter -- although a snow storm in Northern Arizona almost thwarted my plans and left me on the verge of tears! But experiencing this amazing natural wonder in winter was something so spectacular I don't think I'll ever go in the summer.
grand-canyonTime and erosion have carved out a natural wonder that is every bit as grand as its name. A mile deep and up to 18 miles across, this awe-inspiring gorge/river cuts across 277 miles of northern Arizona.
