I’ve seen a lot of fantastic fireworks displays across the US and some of the best were in the most unexpected places like Dayton, OH, on the cliffs of Cambria, CA, from the roof of a British Embassy…. But there’s nothing better than celebrating our independence than in these quintessentially American cities.

Every year, Macy's celebrates Independence Day by sponsoring a fireworks display along the East River in New York City.

Washington, DC
Yes, Washington DC is busy with people on the 4th of July but who wouldn't have it any other way. Why would you not want it to be crowded on the day that America is celebrating its independence, especially in the nation's capitol?
