The thin and durable
Jimi Wallet has a purpose - it's to take the place of your wallet, but not to bog it down with all that extra accumulated stuff. It's small and compact, and its home is in your front pocket, not the back. The best part is that it's an affordable gift this holiday season for travelers, hikers, bikers, skiers, or just about anyone. Lance Armstrong has jumped on the bandwagon and sells the
Jimi Wallet in his Austin bike shop. (The
Jimi Wallet is $14.95. Order online and receive 20% off using coupon code "travel").
For me, there are many occasions, while traveling, when I don't want to carry my purse. Many times, I just want to carry my wallet, but it's not prudent to be walking around carrying a bulging envelope-style wallet in my hand. When I hit the beach or slopes, it's always a concern as to how I'm going to carry my money and which pocket to place it in. A bulky wallet in my ski jacket is uncomfortable, and at the beach, it's always worrisome leaving my wallet hidden in my beach bag. With the water resistant
Jimi Wallet, I literally bury it in the sand underneath my beach towel.
The
Jimi Wallet has two compartments, which can stash up to 5 cards. An internal money clip holds three bills. When I'm on a trip, the
Jimi Wallet is my savior. Whether I'm involved in an activity, or going out to dinner, I attach the
Jimito a lanyard and hang it around my neck. If I happen to be in dubious surroundings, I conceal it under my clothes. The
Jimicomes in a rainbow of translucent colors as well as black, grey, and white. If you have mucho dinero, get the JimiX wallet, which has an external money clip. It can hold a wad. Attach it to your belt or armband.
The icing on the cake is that it's made in the USA. I am proactive on finding those scarce American-made products. It's always a nice feeling to buy something made in the good old U S of A.
